Print at the right physical size
Pixel dimensions and paper dimensions are different. Use the PDF layout when physical sizing matters.
Choose PDF as the file format to keep the chosen physical size. More downloads provides repeated photo sheets. A4, 4 × 6 inches and 10 × 15 cm are different dimensions.
In the print dialog, use actual size or 100%, select the matching paper and disable fit-to-page. Borderless modes can enlarge a picture automatically: verify the printer setting rather than assuming “borderless” means unchanged size.
Use the scale-test PDF first. Its square should measure 20 mm on both sides. If it does not, correct the print settings. Do not submit a scale-test sheet. Once the settings are right, print the photo and cut outside its boundary.
Use the photographic paper and print process requested by your receiving institution. A file alone does not verify the print process.
A JPEG sheet contains the first page only. Choose PDF for multiple pages. The app writes density metadata for print JPEGs, but a print shop or viewer can still scale them. A measured print is the final check of physical size.
