Prepare a better source photo
Good framing starts when the photo is taken, before any file conversion.
Start with the current rules for your application. A passport, a visa and an employer’s ID card can have different background, expression and capture-date requirements. The same file is not automatically suitable for all three.
Use even lighting and keep the face in focus. Leave room around the head and shoulders when taking an editable-source photo. A tightly cropped source cannot be expanded to recover the missing shoulders or crown without inventing image content, which this tool does not do.
Avoid filters, beauty modes and background replacement for official passport use. This app offers framing and file preparation, not skin smoothing, facial reshaping, clothing replacement or an acceptance guarantee.
Check the Korean passport guidance for glasses, head coverings, children and medical exemptions. General ID-photo instructions depend on the receiving institution.
